2024 06 15 Fish Derby 1
Orrin Roseberry catches a fish during the Ketchikan Misty Fiords Ranger District Kids Fishing Derby at City Park on Saturday. Over 50 kids participated in the derby, which filled the City Park ponds with fish for children to catch. After catching a fish, they could have it measured and receive a certificate and a goody bag. The U.S. Forest Service and its partners, the Southern Southeast Regional Aquaculture Association, Alaska Department of Fish and Game and Ketchikan Gateway Borough, put on the fish derby.
