2023 07 28 Garden Picnic 1 Favorite
Mike and Chris Cooke have lunch in the garden during the Rendezvous Community Garden Picnic on Friday. Roughly 40 people, including clients, family, friends, and staff, attended the picnic. Rendezvous Senior Day Services needed to host two community picnics in the garden as part of a grant they received from the Alaska Department of Agriculture, which helped them purchase a greenhouse, water tank, and seeds for the garden. The Rendezvous Community Garden is located on the corner of Jefferson Street and 1st Avenue and is open to the public. Staff photo by Christopher Mullen
